The best for the money is going to be a set that you put together yourself, meaning buying seperate pieces. But that would require adequate processing(high end headunit with 3 way crossover or external electronic crossover)
For just a stock replacement using headunit power, I enjoyed my Pioneer Rev Series coaxials.
Sounddomain sells them pretty cheap(around 70 shipped)
What model headunit do you have and are you willing to get a 4 channel amp for them?
alpine 9823, and no amp at the moment but maybe future

The diamond audios are really good speakers for the price...you should consider buying ModPod's if theyre in good shape. Also, you could consider buying Focal 165a components. They are a little more, but they sound really good. I was also impressed with the low end JL components line (either the TX or CS model, i forget) and also the eclipse 3-way coaxials.
