which side can power cable go?

Hey i had a question because i wired a power cable on driver side with intention of going through grommet on that side but cant find it so can i run it on the passenger side instead and have the rca on the driver side. Is this not as good as having it on driver side? Also if i plan to put a changer in glove compartment and power cable is on that side, will it cause interference to changer and head unit? thanks

Shorter is better, but either side should be fine. Just stay away from speaker and signal cabling. As long as you are not running the power cable right next to the changer or head unit, interference should be be a problem, at least not from them being close to them.

^ what he said....but if your power cable is well shielded and you have shielded rcas, you'll have no problems anyway

What kind of car is this? Besides that point almost every car has a grommet with wires going into the car from the drivers side.

Gen3 camry's if I recall correctly you have to go through the fenderwell.
search posts on that topic with toysrme's username and 88LE they posted pics on this subject.
