You would wire it up the same way you would to the car amp. Like this(option #2)

Before you do this though what type of home amp do you have? Also make sure to not let frequencies over 120hz play through. I asked my friend Jeremy Mullins who works for Image Dynamics and is the Iasca Western Regional Judge for ideas on crossing over the sub for in car use and this was his reply.

Quote:
A typical setting would be between 50-120Hz. At 50Hz you can use a shallow roll-off (~6-12dB per octave) and I would recommend a steeper setting at 100 and above.
Start at 120 and lower it until the bass no longer sounds as if to come from the rear of the vehicle. Also try to wire it out of phase and see if it anchors better with the midbass (or lack there of).
His email address is jeremy@imagedynamicsusa.com in case you would like to ask him any questions about the sub, he should be more than glad to help out.

I always wondered what the ramifications were that home amplifiers ran off a 115V power source versus car amps that run off a 12-14V power source.

^Doesn't matter how it get's it's power source, the output wattage will be the same type of power.

run it in series to your home amp, if you run in parallel kiss that amp goodbye.
