Trying to build myself my own aux input...

Alright so I want an audio input on my 05 Matrix XR's 6-cd changer deck, but $60 seems like a crapton to pay for that fancy converter thing. I feel it shouldn't be terribly difficult to make my own converter, given that the input on the deck should just have 4 terminals (+ and - for right and left channels.) However, I'm at school and don't have my socket wrench with me and therefore can't pull my deck out just to check.

So, does anyone have experience building their own aux input on stock Toyota decks, and does anyone have any pictures of what that pesky, proprietary ($&%!!!!!) input looks like? If it seems impossible, I'll just live without the input...
