well heres the problem, I have a 15" L7 laying here but no music is coming from it, and I want to know if I still have warranty or something so I can get this fixed, I went to kicker website and it says I can send it in but i gotta:
"Include a copy of the original receipt with the purchase date clearly visible, and a “proof-of-purchase” statement listing the Customer’s name, Dealer’s name and invoice number, and product purchased. Warranty expiration on items without proof-of-purchase will be determined from type of sale and the manufacturing date code."
yea i dont have receipt or proof of purchase becuz it is all lost, heck i dont even have the original box for the sub, so what is there to do? can i still send it in?

What amp do you have powering it? How much power are you feeding it? Are all your wires plugged in (hey this sounds stupid, but I had a friend who was in the same predicament...his sub speaker wire was loose and fell out)? Have you checked the fuses on your amp? Have you checked the power wire fuse? Are the ground points still secure?
Sending it back to Kicker isn't going to do anything if your wiring is faulty or your amp has problems. A blown sub will still show movement although the sound will be static. If you suspect your subs are in fact fried and swear that your wiring is not bad, take your sub out and examine your voice coils for burn marks.
to tell the truth, i got this from someone here and thats what they told me, i have not tested it out but they said something could be wrong with the voice coil, but ill give it a test later on today then
i did take a look at the voice coil but i dont see anything, sorry im not expertise on audio
edit: i just tested it out, and i think 1 coil is out???

Did you double and triple check your amplifer wiring first? Are your amps getting power? Does your head unit power up? We need a better description of the problem buddy...

Are there visible burn marks on the sub??
no visible burn marks, i know 100% amp and headunit and everything else is working, im running 2 12" audiobahn right now and i have the extra L7, i just redid a lil wiring from my 2 12s to the 1 15" so thats all working

What kinda amp? Specs? And what ohm-load is (or was) the L7 wired at??
was just testing on a boss c700, i kno that wont push it but ill change that later after i get the L7 going, i believe i had it wired at 4 ohm, but like i said, i think 1 coil doesnt work or thats wat this store told me when they tested it

Well, if it is fried, and out of warranty, one choice is to send it in to Kicker on their Trade In program. You send it in, they give you a credit toward a new or refurbished model, they send you that sub. You can email them about the program. They usually reply within a few days. If you do, make sure you mention what model you have and possible age of it.
Yes, the credit might be small. Yes, you might find a cheaper deal online. Worth looking into though.
