Gen5 JBL 6 DISC CD IN MY CAMRY XM Question

I have the JBL 6 Disck CD changer in my Gen 5.5 Camry

I Want to get XM, but don't feel like shelling out $299.99 plus installation fo factory unit.

Can I get this and use it through my factory head unit?

I am not sure if your JBL is a XM ready unit.

Either case, You should be able to install it.
There are quite a few companies that sell after market XM radio stand alone.

Get one with a car kit cos you will need the kit itself, which should include a a suction-cup mount, a roof-mount antenna, and a DC power adapter, etc

Get those, and you will have to do the installation yourself (or at a store)

My head unit is satilite ready but the toyota dealership wants to charge me $400 for it

not worth to get it done @ toyota.

get a XM Satellite Radio unit which includes car kit.
should be a easy job for u.
