just got my d5 amp and my d3 is on the way. i am makin sure for the last time that i go tthe right wires. i need two y splitters a 4 channel kit and a two channel kit, dont know what else. this is the system im talkin about btw http://toyotanation.com/forum/t83133-5.html

I believe in order to put it into bandpass mode you turn the HPF and LPF on then select your crossover points for the mids(which will be wired off the rear channels 3-4)
ok the dials on the amp dont go to 2:30 for the l/p

You are going to want to experiment with the settings. Try it with the mid crossed over at around 3K hz(right about 3:50) You gotta go by what sounds best to your ears. The goal is to have the tweeters and mids blend in well together and have a high soundstage. You want the music to sound like it is coming from the hood of your car.
so i have never set up an audio system before. i dont understand which wires connect to what and what i need to buy

i need two y splitters so that all four of the rca inputs are filled up. i also need a wire to connect from the batterie to the amp and from the ground(chassis) to the amp. the other wires that connect from the speakers to the amp are called what?
