If you're using the IVAD300 (or D310, might as well get the newer one) you won't need the RUX controller. You can control the processor from the DVD screen.

So what do you need help with on the amps? Are you looking for a lower priced alternative?

What do you mean you need help on them? Do you want suggestions on different amps? If so, what do you want to spend?

I would look for a 6 channel amp for the front components, then a strong class AB power 1/2 channel amp for the subs.

Check this out.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...785781610&rd=1

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WD1V

Or check out this McIntosh 6 channel
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
(there's another one on ebay as well)

Or you can go with DLS A series amps, use an A4 on the tweeters and midrange', then an A3 on the midbass'

Use an A6 on the Dual IDMAXs

http://www.dls.se/english/fstark/iframe.htm

Get ahold of Scott Buwalda @ www.buwaldahybrids.com for a quote.

You will definitley need a stronger alternator. Try out www.excessiveamperage.com or Ohio Generators.

The A3 will send 150 watts rms to each Midbass of the DLS 6.3

The DLS A4 will send 75 watts rms to each tweeter and 75 watts rms to each midrange.

The A6 will send each sub 600 watts rms when wired into a 1 ohm load. So you will definitely want dual 4 ohm subs.

Where they say Typical power @ 4 ohm they mean RMS. Their numbers are pretty spot on if not underrated some.

So you getting ready to pull the trigger soon?

The IDMAX's dont need 1k watts. In fact you might be better off not running that much. I really do think you'll be satisfied with that setup. If you really want more power you are going to have to look at bigger more power hungry amps(and the DLS A series amps already are)

You can go with a DLS A6 to each sub. Running at 2 ohms with 870 watts rms to each sub. My friends running a single IDMAX off an A6 at 2 ohms.

The midrange and tweets don't need 100 watts each driver. 75 will be plenty.

They're not cheap, but they are very high quality. Email Scott for a quote.
For a price reference, go to www.froogle.com and price it out, it will most likely be cheaper through Scott.

DLS A6 are 399 ea+shipping, A3 are 499+shipping, an A6 will do about 1200 watts at 1ohm, I was running the same amp before I switched to Tru Amps. Buy 1 A6 and if you feel its not enough buy another later. Cam also mention the old PPI art series, hese are very good amps as well, just not as efficient as the DLS amps.

My other suggestion would be a pair of Arc Audio 2500's the Arc/ID Max combo sounds the best. For fronts:

This guy is selling Tru amp for mids and tweets:
Up for sale is a Tru Tech T4.65 BURRED in excellent condition, any newer would be brand new. Amp comes with original box. 425 shipped

Another guy is selling a 2 channel for midwoofer
2.100 with box asking 350 shipped

Your cost for a pair of 2500's, a T4.65, and a 2.100 would be around 1500.00 This would be the bes SQ amps I have ever spec'd on paper.
