Check out JL Auido amps, been using them for 3 years now and no problems just good clear loud sound. The only problem I had was the pass side seat has a bar running across the bottom of the seat, could not put an amp under the seat.

I've had JL slash amps before-300/4 and 500/1. They were nice, and had good crossovers.

My whole system is going to cost about 850 bucks. That's how much two JL amps cost new. Then another 500+ for a W7, then wiring, box, sound proofing, etc...

JL is pretty good, but not a good value imo.

Someone should scoop up one of these amps. Peter Lufrano(the seller) is an authorized dealer for Helix, so full warranty applies.

These amps are made by Brax, which is one of the best companies out there. Right up there with Zapco, TRU, McIntosh, etc.

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZpeterlufrano

Rated at 4 X 50 + 170 for sub. Does 250 watts rms to the sub when wired to 2 ohm.
This amp will power a whole system.
