Current Draw Question
Ok. Minitronics/Data and Lighting is my speciality at work, but Electronic engineering is not my forte. I have a relay running a current project of mine, however i have stumbled across a problem. The relay being used needs a current draw of 80mA but the component is only drawing 50mA. My question - what would i use to create more current?
The other question is - This MUST be on the Earth side, or this project cannot work. Would a simple 30 loop coil create enough draw to switch the relay? or would a resistor do the trick? The other thing, Would the fact that the relay is on the earth side of the component create an issue? Oh, the System is 12v too.
