sry to cause such an arguement.. i've heard JL and im not saying their bad.. they are very very nice subs/everything the make. Just saying they cost quite a few. To be truthful im probably 1 and 2 for sure.. not so sure about #3 . Mainly because I never planned on getting anything even close to JL... too good for me.

JL Audio is definately the top brand for subs. im not trying to jock it but i have had 2 12w3v2 subs for about 2 yrs now and no matter what i do to them they still pound and hit clean as hell. to me jl audio is not that expensive i got 2 12s in a box for 270 at pacific stereo brand new! and i got 3 12's in a box for 450 for my jeep. w3s pound hard and are moderately priced they last long too. i had sum w6v2s i got for christmas and i blew them in 1 week. i think cus i didnt let them break in. but there wasnt much of a difference between w6s and w3s. jl is coo but get 2 12w3v2 subs ull be happy

Yeah JL Audio are decently priced...other who keeps saying they are over priced is because they are thinking about the W7...JL Audio have many differnt models from WO, W3, W6, to W7...I'm not going to lie the JL Audio 12W7 I got new from Spangler's Sound was priced at $750 not including the box...I think it was worth every penny because I'm limited in space in my 02 Tacoma extra cab...I wanted a single 12 that can slam harder than most peoples 2-12's in their truck where mine is in a limited space that I can still utilize at least a rear passenger side seat if need be...I'm not going to lie but my single 12W7 slammed harder than my 2-12" RF in a bandpass box in my 94 Honda Accord.

Pacific Stereo is pretty shady.. It really makes me wonder how they sell their stuff for so cheap... I've personally never bought anything from them, but have considered it. I went to the one down in Woodland Hills (Southern Cali) and some guy quoted me $300 out the door for a 12W6v2... That's quite a deal, but to be honest, I don't trust their inventory... Rumor has it that they sometimes write down your address if you buy a whole system from them so they can go to your house and steal it back...

Just chimin' in. Don't let that stop you from continuing to shop there. If you've had a good experience with them before, then have at it.

Read what you wrote. Anybody who knows anything about car audio could tell you that.

I wasn't commenting about your utilization of cargo room -- everyone knows you saved a bunch of space.

you are right dude pacific is one of the shadiest places ive been to. i always hate to buy but they are the only ones who carry good brands at decent prices. everything ive bought there has worked and still works perfectly but definately will never leave a car there for installation hell NO they suck. the pacific stereo in fremont is the best out of the 3 in the bay. they got good prices and a lot of selection. they are authorized dealers tho according to jl audio and alpine but... the stereo shop u are talking about where they get ure address is Monney Car Audio in Redwood City, the same shit happened to my friend they jacked her radio straight up 1 week later.

Yeah man, my buddy Kai told me a story about how he knew a grip of people who had it happen to them. You're most definitely right about their prices tho. You got a pair of dub3's for $270...my friend paid $290 (which i thought was a real bargain)... So on that. I got my old 9807 from them for $180 brand new back in 2003.
