Audio Gurus, do you suggest that i keep my two 15 Audiobahn high excursion series with about 2ft^3 per chamber in a sealed box or go with two Kicker L7 12s in a slot ported box. Will the twelves be deeper and louder over a distance than the 15's...
Alright my speakers frequency response is 20-700hz vs. 20-100hz of the L7s. What relevance does this have....And the db sensitivity is 95db on the Audiobahn and 87db on the L7s, what relevance does all this have...
You opinion doesn't count you drive the cheapest car made...how can I expect you to afford anything JL
Easy easy. Let's not bash our fellow TN-ers.
My opinion about JL: It's some of the best money can buy -- it just depends on how much money you're willing to spend. Sure, it's a bit overpriced, but you definitely get what you pay for. It's certainly not the absolute best, but it's certainly up there. I've noticed that often times, JL Audio is bashed by individuals who:
1) can't afford it
2) are jealous (probably because they can't afford it)
3) have better equipment themselves AND HAVE HEARD JL STUFF.
I'm not sure which category Corollacrazy42 fits under, but it really doesn't matter. Let's drop it and get back to answering Oibone's question about SPL sub recommendations...

oibone, to your original ?
There is deinitely much better stuff out there than Audiobahn, (and kicker too, but they are decent)
What amp are you using and what kind of budget are you working with? Are you going for strictly SPL, or would you like it to have some kind of accuracy and sound quality?
