Just wanting you guys to check it out, make sure I havent overlooked anything. Its going to be a 2 way setup. I scored the 4ch amp cheap, hoping to do the same with the rest because i see a few good deals going on now.
Ill let the pic say what isnt said. But 0-2awg wire will be used from battery to a fused distro block to 4 awg wire to the amps, probably 12+ to the xover. 8awg for subs, and 12-16 for the speakers. Tweets will be enclosed on the thing that covers up the mirror screws on the inside (the pillar thing, dont know the name) midrange will be in door, rear speaker will be gone. Rest in trunk, with proper size sealed box.
Look okay for a budget setup?

I have near-audiophile level equipment, and I've spent less than $400 so far. I'm living proof that you don't need to spend big bucks to get great stuff -- just luck and believe it or not, good eBay bidding "skills."
Those tweets are like 5" in diameter, they're not going to fit in your sail panels, you'll want to use a much smaller tweeter for that location. And those mids are pretty innefecient, they'll need much more power than 2 of the channels of that 4 channel amp. That amp will work great if you were to bridge it for just the midbass drivers.
Also you'll need to debuck the speakers to have a chance at fitting them in the stock door location.
Those mids are really good though, but they need alot of power. And 7" mids will be easier to mount in the stock door location. I'd get a D5300.2 for the tweeters, and use the D5300.4 on the mids. If you want to use the Dayton Reference tweets, you might want to consider making kickpods for them.

Okay scratch the daytons. I didnt notice they were 5" . Another recommendation? A link to actually buy them? I still cannot find the seas and all, although thats still to expensive for my blood.
I only planned on kickpods on when I added my midbass so then i could move the midrange to the kickpods. Although I know it would sound better in the pods than the door, I just dont want to be well... kicking them a lot.

I'm planning on going with the Seas G18RNX and the LPG 25NFA. You can buy these from Madisound and Solen.ca
The Seas CA18RNX is a good choice too.
So are you planning on going with a 3 way setup or a 2 way?

8 gauge speaker wire is way overkill for subs, 12 gauge is more than enough. 16 gauge is good for the speakers.
Okay i checked out the seas/lpg. Looks nice, dotn know too much about it as far as specs go. Although its sorta pricy. Are there any other good combos too look out for maybe a little cheaper?
