I can get these for about $175, i thought about going active like cam2 said but no point with me getting a pretty new 2002 es300, has like 12K miles, my parents dont drive it and my lil sis will prob take over my gen3. So i figured i would just put in these components and should sound decent with my kenwood HU. Gonna put my $$$ into the es once i finish school this yr.

$125 off compared to Crutchfield is a great deal for some seperates...paired in a nice amp...you will have a great sound.

You can get Alpine Type X's for about that price. Much better components in my opinion. Polk Audio is simply average.

quick q: is it possible to get decent bass with say just the components and the amp, i really dont wanna get a sub in the back.

Yes...3-way components might be your best bet since you'll have a dedicated midbass. Just be sure to feed your mids plenty of power and you should get "decent" bass...
