good 5 x 7's

ok i need to know of some good component 5 x 7's with a amp. lets keep this around 300 bucks for 1 set of 5 x 7 components and a amp for them......thanks

I assume this is for a Ford?

Look into the JL XR components, they offer a 5x7. Can you make an adapter for a 6.5" round speaker?

yea its for a ford explorer how did u know?..lol.....can a adapter even be made for a 6.5 speaker with out cutting the metal??? if so then yea i perfer a 6.5 2-way component set thats only if it will sound better

Probaly not without some trimming. See if you can find a pic of what you are working with.

also there's a 12inch l5 in the truck but i want a amp that will send it 600 watts. i forgot what kind of amp it has now for the subs but its a cheap one.

Personally I don't like 5 X 7's...I like round speakers persay over oval...it just sounds better...if I were you I would look into a round speaker component.
