amp mounted on sub box

I just bought two 12" audiobahn subs in a box with a 760w pioneer amp. I was wondering if it was ok that the amp was mounted on the back of the box.
Thanks for any feedback,
Marc

If you are going to mount the amp to the box, do it as explained here.
