Does anybody have any opinion or review for the Diamond Audio D6 series? I'd like to get the HEX series, but I don't want to spend that much. I'm thinking about the D661s component set. $180 on Ebay.

the hex's are that much more on ebay

they can stand up to a little more abuse than the 6's
if you just want quality the 6's should be fine...
if you are gonna blast them, get the hex's

I won't be sending any more than 100 watts to them.

I think I'll get the silk dome, for a smoother sound.

I had aluminum dome Diamonds in my last truck and they handled some serious power. I fried my MB Quarts, but the Diamonds just ate it up. The Aluminum cones seem to be tougher, but they are just too sharp sounding for my taste now.
