Only thing I cannot figure out is the fuse part.

Do I take the mess of wires that go to the battery terminal (stock) and put that in the fuse box (if so where?) and then have the wire from the trunk go to the other side of the fuse box (where?) or should I use an after market fuse? if so what kind.

on mine they used a the inline fuses you use for your power wire for your system id like to help you more but i have no idea what they did or how they did. All i know you have to have a fuse just in case something happens dont want anything to happen to the battery

circuit breaker...150amp....good idea....in my opionion....MUCH easier to disconnect power by opening the breaker than fucking with a fuse for minutes on end

i have a circuit breaker on my main battery and knailgun is right its easy to disconnect power.

On mine I wrapped up the original + terminal and hid it. I ran the wire from battery to the starter since that's the highest amperage drawing thing on the car. The original wire that fed the starter now supplies the battery current to the fusebox via the hidden terminal that still has all wires attached. In the trunk I used a marine fuse holder and fuse. Much better than the flashy fuse holders like most stereo shops use.

Fuses are available up to 800amps for these. I'm using a 150a.
I used a 4awg wire to run to the starter and used another to ground the battery to the speaker tray below the rear window. I've been using this setup for 3 years or better with no charging problems or any other issues. My battery is vented out of the trunk also.
