3rd Generation FLIP DOWN OR IN DASH DVD PLAYER??need advice

hi guys again,i posted a thread not too long ago about a inexpensive way i thought to get

some tvs in my 92 camry.well after getting some expert info on these products i wanted to buy.

im thinking about possibly getting a flip down for the front.just mount it right in front of and

above the rear view mirror.i dont have a moonroof,so theres a spot right where the console for

the moonroof would be,it would fit perfect.and id save myself a whole lot of money by just buyin

the flip down monitor and buying a dvd,cd,mp3 player and mount in my dash where my cd

player sits.ive found monitors on ebay for anywhere from around $100-$300.now i really want

an all in one in dash unit.with a motorized screen, but im not gonna spend anything close to

what a good one costs, pioneer ,around $500.i can buy a flip down and a dvd player all together

for around $250-$300.anyone think this would work well??i know the in dash is better and

easier to have but,i dont have the money to blow right now on one.does anyone have a

flip-down monitor in the front mounted above the rear view mirror?help me out boysss

not what i want but heres a link to one,a dvd player, adaptor and a flip down screen for $180.

they have all in one units that flip down, it has the player in side the flip down unit, so all you have to do is wire it up to the battery, i like those, that way you can have another one in your dash that flips out, so you can run two diff. dvds at the same time.

just for licks, i've been thinking about selling my dvd player set-up that i have in my camry, it's not all in one but it's got the flip out and the seperate player right underneath it, everything works great, but im fixing to upgrade to a nav. system, so it's gotta go.

if you're intersted let me know.

if you're going to get a separate DVD/CD playeretc, you may as well get a slim PS2, it can do all that, along with play games

That's a good idea. I used a PS in my camry with my Pioneer AVXP7000CD and it turned out pretty nice. Of course I also had the XDV-P9 too, but the PS2 worked ok.
