type R or rf punch 3

i was planning to get 2 12" for my car.. but i dont know what sub would be better. i have never heard alpine type R's before can anyone tell me if their better than the rf's. thanks.

Alpine Type-R's aren't bad, they're actually pretty decent for the price he's getting them(100 bucks each, not bad)

Here's a good amp to power them up nicely

Where else are you gonna find 800 watts of clean Class AB power for 210 bucks shipped?

How bout this for a suggestion...get neither! Go with a 15 inch Dayton DVC. Put that sub in a ported box and you got yourself a fuckin bad ass sub for like 125 at partsexpress. That way you can save a bit of money for a sturdy amp maybe a US Amp or MTX something of that nature.
