what gen is that cam? i have a gen 3 with the dials above the DIN.. but i dont think it will be too much of a hassle to close the screen to get to the vents. thats the 7 inch one, right?
also, do u know if there is a general way to bypass the gyrosensor thing or w/e its called that prevents you from watchin a dvd while the car is moving?
I think you just have to ground the wire to the parking brake. But be advised that it is illegal(and dangerous) to watch movies while driving.(I'm sure you know that already)
yea i know its illegal.. but i wouldnt be watching myself while driving.. more for passenger, aka gf's enjoyment. i thought connecting it to the parking brake was what made it detect if the car was in motion(dont u have to put the parking brake on to watch?)
I'm sorry I misworded that. You just need to ground the wire that is meant to go to the parking brake. (I'm gonna get in trouble for telling you that )
hey cam, i saw in this thread http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t90441.html that u had hookups for eclipse.. so i was wondering if you could provide me with info on this HU that i just got?
yea i have that one already.. but reading from some of the posts i saw while searching, you had said that u knew ppl at eclipse, so thats why i was wondering if u had any access to other manuals. if not, its ok. i can probably go to an eclipse dealer and pick one up, right?
ok so i got the unit in today and took a look at it. im not totally sure but i dont think i have the correct wiring harness or i have to do the wiring myself. here are some pics, please see if u can figure this out or help me.
