You can have my Alpine Type-S 6x9s for $50.... They're just sitting in my rear deck, unpowered.
But in all honesty, rear fill, or 6x9s for that matter, are the devil.

Umm, I have 5.25" Alpine Type-S coaxials in my front door. Also unpowered. Dunno if that helps.
Ever since my system was stolen, I haven't quite gotten around to taking out what they didn't steal...Lemme know if you're interested.

alpines are nice for the rea, those type S's are very sweet, Personally, I would go with 6.5" in the rear location so as to give you more options for powerwise and choices. MTX makes some very nice components, 6.6 thunder series are hella sweet...and component coaxial....oh baby....but are more toward the $125-150 range

Ive got a pair of Kicker K693's, they've got some good power handling. You can have them for $45 shipped.

kicker doesnt seem to offer the same sort of bass response alpine does. i guess that could contribute to the price difference.
