Looks like a pain to install. Did you do it yourself?
No I didn't install it. I had a company do it and they scratched up my dash pretty good. I'm sure you can see some of it from the pictures. So I had them reorder me a new dash! So yes, I'm assuming it was a pain in the ass to install.
Looks nice sitting in there, like stock. That what I like about the Scions, the DIN cover. My daughters b.f. has the TC & he's planning on doing the same setup with HU.
Nice setup... i was looking for the same setup but found an old pioneer stereo with bluetooth and hd radio so i installed that for now. the regular double din might leave spaces on the sides because the stock radio is a little bigger outside.
installation was pretty simple if you have the wire adapter to install a custom radio to the wiring of your scion. i even manage to get the steering wheel remote working.
I might go with Pioneer since the hd tuner i bought is pretty neat.
don't they still need the navigation discs to look at the map? I got the Avic f90bt in the Mustang and I hate the way it boots up... its slow I live three mins from the highway the system still would be booting up.

Hey! It ain't much to beat the block down, but it'll work for now...
yes, the d1 need the disc JUST to use the navigation other than that you wont need to, the avic f90 i think star up very slow... so thats mean all the f series will be like that
