For about the same price you can get the Premeir DEH-770MP model on ebay. Better warranty and higher voltage pre-out.

If you spend another 100 bucks you can get the DEH-P860mp, and get the 3 way crossover's you are going to want for wiring active. Also you're going to get a 24 bit bur brown DAC, 6.5 Volt preouts, 13 band graphic eq.

Whats the diff between the p8mp and the p80mp.

p860 looks great, looks like it will be easier to use than the 80. factory refurbished ones are about $280 shipped. brand new is about $310 shipped!

oh thats the 8600 not the 860. wtf... lol whats the difference!? ones premier.. ones pioneer?

The 8 is the preimer version the 80 is the regular version, better warranty , and most likely higher voltage preouts.

The thing is though those still don't touch the 860mp.

Alright. Ill put the 860 on my wish list. Keep jumping back and forth between what I want and what I need to finish. I need to get my new battery and finish my box before anything else...

Yeah that DEH-P860MP is on my wish list too, ever since Cam2 recommended it like 4 months ago. But after spending $650-700 on my system (recently installed myself w00t! ) I'm not too over zealous to drop another 300 on a HU. Maybe Christmas plus my birthday plus a nice paycheck?
