Sub/Mono Block Wiring Question.

So as to not hijack 88's thread...

I searched and didn't come up with much. Anyway, I've got an MTX421D amp and my box from Marv finally came in (pics to come, it is a thing of beauty though) and am going to finish up wiring this weekend. Anyway, I have the Class D amp, and it has two Pos. (+) & two Neg. (-) terminals for the subs. I thought I read somewhere that these are essentially one terminal split into two for wiring purposes. If they are infact "connected" to one source, how would I wire my subs up to get the most watts to each sub? Would I just run wire from each + (amp) to each + (sub) and each - (amp) to each - (sub)?

On most amps you use the left + and right -. But check the owners manual to be sure.

And wire up the subs to achieve the proper load.

I was checking out the manual on you amp, you're supposed to use the right side channels of the amp for mono opteration.

Is that just for one sub (Like it shows on the diagram) or both (and split the wire from one channel to two subs)?

I'm pretty sure it's for both. You may want to contact their customer support just to be sure.
