Help!

My friend is finally selling his crappy Sony system. 2 10 inch sony xplods and a sony xplod 1200 watt amp(more like 100 lol) but he cant sell it till we figure out wtf is wrong with one of the subs. One plays perfectly fine but the other one doesnt play for awhile then plays then doesnt like no thump will come out of it. Im convinced that that sub is blown or close to it because they suck. Got any ideas?

Sounds like a bad connection. Have you checked all the wiring?

I wouldn't think it would be the amplifier ground if one is constantly working. It's probably a bad connection on the subs terminal, or the box's terminal if applicable.

Generally speaking, a sub that is "blown" will still move, but the sound it produces is static. If it's not moving AT ALL, check the connections.
