strang issue with my soundsystem WEIRD!!

hey guys i have a strange ass problem with my sound system

about 2 weeks ago i had a pioneer premier deck with a 4 channel kicker amp powering my highs and they were sounding beautiful. no problems in the morning or even bumping it hard.
i recently added 3 12w3v2 subs with a hifonics amp and now i have problems.
everytime i turn on the radio when its cold or in the morning the whole sound system seems to sort of "SKIP" like a cd. it is very weird not even playing it loud or anything it just skips. does anyone kno what could be wrong before i spend a lot of money for a troubleshooting at a local shop.????

Could be the head,if the face detaches then check the copper connections, pin connectors, things of that nature.

Is it actually the headunit skipping and not something wrong with the amp? When it does skip, does the counter on the headunit pause or go back or does it continue to read the numbers without a skip?
