Well.. unexpected, my headunit just died in the middle of driving. None of the controls work, etc etc, its a sony... what do you expect. Since this is unexpected, I need a headunit, because I do not want to wait til dec (when I planned on getting a new one). So i Have $200 for a headunit right now, what do you recommend?
Im looking at this. The Premier Version. DEH-P770MP
lol. well my mind is made up. I have to stop spending so much. I wanted to drop another $100 or so.. but guess what, my budget is over by about $400 already! So instead, im going to buy that pioneer hu, be happy with it, because frankly, its better than, A) Nothing B) My sony C) A good amount of headunits
So ill be happy. plus its only $180 and im on a money crunch

Do I hav eto buy the wire harness? Or can I use the one I had for my sony headunit?
use the one you had for the sony harness (I assume you had the OEM plug adaptor)....pretty simple if you did, oh and the 770mp...is fuckin awesome, I am looking to upgrade mine this winter..... if it is any indication, I hould be the only one on TN with this model
If I were you, in my very humble opinion I would buy the Eclipse, Alpine, or Kenwood. The sound processing on pioneer sucks in pioneer HU in my opinion. If you decieded to get the pioneer or any brand definitely think about getting a sound processor. It makes a huge difference to your setup.
