Canada Vancouver, BC: Any1 tried Apollo Alarm?

Hi,
I'm shopping for an alarm for my Matrix. It already has keyless entry, and keyless back window release. Generally will I need to buy addons for the new security system so that it can control these items ?

I'm thinking about going to Apollo Alarm on Clark and Venables, anyone use them before? I used them to install a CD player on an old car few years ago, but not alarm...

depends on the alarm you go for. overall decent alarms have keyless and at least one aux(window) output.

hi everyone...i just bought my matrix over the weekend (2006 XR FWD - package 2) and i should've asked this initially but it didn't come to mind until after i got home...i didn't order the VIP alarm but there is a security light on the left of the steering wheel column...does this mean there is somewhat of an alarm or is it fake and only for deterrence reasons? i'm confused because there is also a 'panic' button on the back of they keyless entry remote. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!
