Sub Wiring Help

Well when my friend moved away he gave me his subs which were 2 Infinity 10" 1030W with a sealed enclosure. Its been sitting in my room for awhile and I want of put it in now, but I don't have an amp yet and I was thinking of getting the infinity 310A mono amp since its pretty cheap on ebay and people say it sounds good.

Infinity 10" 1030W Subwoofer
* Size: 10 inch
* Rec. Sealed Box Dims: 0.75 cu.ft.
* Rec. Ported Box Dims: 1.75 cu.ft.
* Free Air Usage: yes
* Sensitivity: 90 dB
* Frequency Response: 25-250 Hz
* Recommended RMS Power: 250W
* Peak Power Handling: 1000W
* Impedance: 4 ohms

Infinity 310A 1-Channel Car Amplifier
* Amplifier Type: Mono
* RMS Power: 116W x 1 @ 4 ohms
* THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: <1 %
* RMS Power: 312W x 1 @ 2 ohms
* Speaker Level Inputs: No
* Preamp Outputs: Yes
* Built-In Crossovers: LP
* Bass Boost: 0 - 12 dB
* Frequency Response: 17-302 Hz
* Signal to Noise Ratio: 81 dB
* Fuse Rating: 30 amps

Since the subwoofers are SVC (i think), can i hook it up like this wiring diagram? and get 312 rms going to the subs at 2 ohm stable? I know its underpowering the subs, is it too little power or will it work?

Thank You

so long as the wiring is parallel wiring you'll be ok...just make sure that the amp is 2 ohm stable which it is

Do the subs have one set of Positive and negative terminals or two on each sub? With that amp you will be sending each sub about 150 watts. They'd like to see considerably more than that.

*Yoink* - That was me stealing this thread for a moment. What would be the best way to wire parallel if my box is two seperate chambers? Wire from one cup terminal to the next, then to the amp or what?

And the subs are being underpowered, still will sound good, I ran 200 on them and it was good.

Would there be any way I could make the wiring look clean in that situation? I hate having my stuff all over the place like that. I can't think of a good way to make it look clean right now.

Also, I'll put up some pics tonight of my box. I'll be needing opinions on whether or not to carpet it.

they have one set of positive and negative terminals for each sub on the back of the box...is it bad for the subs to underpower that much?

It's not bad at all to power those subs with less than rms figures. You just won't get the full output capabilitty of the subs, But they will probably sound fine.

What are you paying for the amp? If you'd like I can probably think of something that will send more power to those subs for the same or less money and most likely be of the same quality or better.
