Ok.. so i ordered 2 12" dual 4 ohm L7 kickers, and a KX850.2 amp that was installed by a sound car place... and it worked well...
I pushed these buggers hard throughout the day, and dreamed about them in my sleep. The next day, i played them alot as well, and in the late afternoon my friend changes a cd in my car and he thinks i am having energy problems because the subs werent working.. I shut off the car, turn it on, and play a new song and it worked...
then it stopped. i said i was dun with this for tonight... and later that night, i bumped it hard for a good 2 minites and it died forever, as i know of.
The next day i went back to the sound place, they replaced the fuse, checked for pinched wires and such, and then took my amp out and tested another one... the other worked. Finally they told me it was my amplifier and it was a lemon or went bad fast..
In 2 days, i ruined an amp?, wtf can i do? is there any fuses i can change on the amp...
Ok, so i bought it off my dads client, and now he doesnt want to assosiate with him, so am i stuck with sending it back to the company (kicker) and explaining to them that "it just doesnt work?" lol...
Bad idea to open it up if you have warranty on that sucker. If you do and you open it they will know and they could just say well hey u opened it u ruined it. Leave to them its their problem kicker gets alot of complaints.
