How much are you looking to spend on the subs? Hard to give you any suggestions without it.

About 1 K for everything or so. I want to know of someplace other than ebay where i could get something like Rocford P2's for $40 per sub. I will spend like $80 per sub, trying to keep it cheap

This sub right here is the same as an older RE8 from RE Audio

If you want to spend more, I can think of other cheap stuff.

Call up Sony/Blaupunkt/Audiobahn and I'm sure they'd love to sponsor you. Maybe they can put a wall of 50 or so 6x9s in the back of your minivan.

Are you serious about a wall of subs in your minivan?? Perhaps you should keep reading...

Here's some food for thought. If you want quality stuff, keeping it under $1,000 will be -- let's face it -- IMPOSSIBLE. You mentioned, you'd be willing to spend 80 per sub. I dunno if you own a calculator or passed 7th grade math, but 80 times 10 (subwoofers) would be 800 bucks. That's not factoring in shipping that many subs nor the plenty of amplification and electrical upgrades you're going to need, amongst other things.

But if you're really intent on doing this, I second Cam's opinion/recommendation. But if you're about show and want your subs to be stamped with some sort of logo on the cone, then those aren't for you. Let us know and we'll recommend some other stuff...

The bottom line to MY advice is this: If you're going to do it, do it right. When it comes to car audio, don't skimp out especially if you're going for the show-car-ness you've described. Have a plan as far as acquiring what equipment you want/need and how you're going to pay for it. Start researching, reading, etc. You'll thank yourself later.

Thanks man, Yea i see what you are saying, I want to get sponsored, but i dont think no one would sponsor me unless i had something to begin with. I dont make alot of money. I do car audio and Alarms and whatnot for side work.

Im gonna take it slow, maybe i will buy one thing at a time

I've seen a bunch of setups where a single or dual 15" or 18" subs ported get louder than a wall of subs. Are you willing to do maybe a wall for two big ass subs?

For high power amps with bang for the buck check this out.
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2668
Get two of those, each connected to a purpose built SPL sub.

Search on www.termpro.com for some suggestions for SPL subs, then check out classifieds on some popular car audio forums.

this is a funny read, most show installs dump a grand into the wiring alone (and I am probably on the low end figure. Personally, go for SQ, tuning and custom fabs pay off more than outright SPL......point scores on Usac, SLAP, and IASCA for those setups are hell though
