Those aren't that bad, esp. for the money. If you want some other things to look at, gotta know a budget before looking at anything.

No difference at all. If I could make a really nice sub enclosure myself, I'd be all about it.

I just wish I had access to a Table saw, and the knowhow he and you have on building an enclosure. I tried it once and it was jacked up LOL

The only good box i ever made, the picture doesnt show it but its really beat up looking. The reason is the carpeting isnt quite big enough to cover the whole box. and in some place i nails are starting to come out. and there is hot glue everywhere from when i try to seal the box.

Well, I'm leaning towards the SQL thing, but as is obvoius, I'm sittin at the entry level on my equipment and know-how.

Cam, I don't have a budget persay, as I am hoping these will last me for a while. But if you can think of anything off the top of your head, cool! I don't know if I want a house now, or a motorcycle. I'm leaning towards the bike because its a little more instant gratification, as well as a little more realiztic. So I'm saving up for that as of now, so no new equipment for a while, unless I find some kill deals.

Oh yeah, and I'm looking for tips on carpeting (if I do indeed go that way) and I'm still open for suggestions. I don't think the formica thing is quite up my alley, but I'll keep it in mind.

all you really need to build a good box is a table saw, drill and a tape measure.

Carpentry is really easy, its very straight forward. I dont know anything about ports and any of that shit, but give me the airspace you need and ill have one just as good in about a day.

I'm sure it isn't too difficutl, but seeing as how I lack access to the tools and the space to create my own box, this was a fantastic option. However, I will say that it is the small things that put an experienced box builder/carpenter/etc... obove the rest.
