If you must save a few dollars and buy Peal and Seal, don't use it on vertical or upsidedown surfaces.
Dunno what u r talking about i have 3 layers of it on my trunk lid and nooooooothing is wrong. Plus ud figure since i live in texas and its so hot adding inside of a trunk is hot that it would fall off? Naw it stays on great.

I'm glad for you. I hope it continues to hold up. From my experiences with it and eDead, it doesn't hold up well. And for the price of it compared to the thicker raammat, raammat was a better deal. Not to mention Butyl based compared to Asphalt based.

nah you didn't come off like an ass, nor was I implying you were
I've just had the stuff fall off on a couple of installs I've done. And the surfaces were totally prepped beforehand. Ended up falling off the door and sticking to the window. Major Pain in the ASS.
Now I buy only Raammat mat. I've had very good results.
Well i hear ppl say it falls off(now u) but alot of ppl say it stays on(like me), I wonder what the deal is with that. i mean isnt peel and seal all made the same way lol? I mean u said u did all that b4 putting it on, which i did too. Its confusing but oh well at least u found something that worked right?lol
Nice tests. See even they have confusion with Peel and Seal. Well like i said as long as ya found something that works and isnt as expensive as dynomat its all good. Lol did u have this link bookmarked cuz if not u search really well lol.
I do have one question though. I want to add another layer on my trunk lid. The first layers were peel and seal but if i wanna use something different this time would it work or would it fall off?

I'd probably try and cover it with Spectrum Sludge. See now if you were to use a thicker Butyl based mat, you wouldn't have had to do as many layers to get the same results(or better) Might have saved $ too
