USA 2005 Tundra Dbl Cab Eclipse avn5435 install! Help!

Hey all,

I just bought a 2005 tundra double cab limited and i did not want to spend 8k to get the navigation package (includes TRD and all that other crap that you don't need). i have a 3k cash back rebate to buy an aftermarket unit! I really like the Eclipse avn5435 (through crutchfield.com i get a 10" sub and an amp for free with the 15% off deal). the only problem is the tundra double din dash is a little bigger than the standard double din radio dimensions. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this thing to fit ( Fujitsu makes Eclipse and Toyota OEM radios, so it works with the factory plugs and steering wheel controls). I have done many radio and amp installs, so i am very knowledgeable, but i can't find a dash kit that will fill the crutchfield desribed gap created around the new eclipse unit. Here are my questions.

Does it fit the factory mounts and space?

Is there really a gap? If yes, than what have you heard on how to accomodate that?

Can I modify a dash kit to work with the eclipse?

i have the cash for the unit and i really enjoy installing stuff myself (i am not cheap, i like to learn how to do stuff for myself).

Also, if anyone has any tips on how to bypass the safety feature (not being able to watch a dvd or control the nav while driving) it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Guys
