94 Camry - wiring harness?

I'm trying to figure out if I need (or can get) a wiring harness for the in-dash stereo of my '94 Camry so I can put in a new receiver. Crutchfield carries one Toyota wiring harness, but says it doesn't fit my car. Where can I get one that does? Also, does anyone know where to get the wiring diagram in case I have to make my own?

The standard Toyota wiring harness (87+) should work, unless you have a factory amp setup or something, that might make it different.

Otherwise, check out the audio FAQ, and scroll down for the wiring guide if you want to splice everything yourself. Good luck!

If you can look at the back of the stereo, there should be two white plugs (1 x 10 pin and 1x 6 pin) and a black plug going into the stereo. Any 1987+ Toyota harness will do. If there's only one white plug with a lot more than 10 pins, you have an amp in the car somewhere. If that's the case, dig around where you took the stereo out and there should be plugs to bypass the amp.

Thanks guys, I found the 87+ Toyota harness from Metra, and got it spliced to the stereo's harness. Works great.
