What do these adjustments mean/do?

not too familiar with the following:

subsonic: 15-35Hz
low pass: 35-250Hz - this blocks out certain high freq right?
phase: 0-180 degrees
bass eq: 0-18dB - this is just the bass volume right?

please enlighten me as detailed as possible as how to go about adusting them, thank you.

subsonic is mostly used on ported boxes. It keeps the sub from going below certain frequncies.. so it doesnt hurt it.

low pass tell the sub what frequencies it should play up to.

phase is something with the angle of it.. i forgot awhile ago.

bass eq is a bass boost

Subsonic filters out whatever is below that setting. So basically your sub will output the frequencies above the subsonic filter freq and below the LPF freq.

Phase is the angle of the output. If 0 degree, it will output as the wave form is input. If 180 degrees, the wave form will be off by 180 degrees or 1/2 wave length compare to the rest of the system. Bass frequencies can cancel out if they are output in a certain way. It's almost like a time delay function, but not quite..it varies depending on the frequency. I dunno really how to explain it.
