Typo, did not know there was a difference between the max and the one I currently have. I think it is the ID10D4 v.3 according to the paperwork. Is the max a different sub?
I want to hook up two of them @ two ohms, so I will need to D2s correct?
Dang! I guess that will mean I need to sell my D4. Does the madness ever stop!!!
The IDMAX is a big mofo. Awesome sub, but almost 8" deep.
Rob, check out this page for ?'s on wiring 2 dvc subs.
HOLY MOLY!! That is amazing. I think the amps in my truck were $900 alone!
The ironic part is that my system is going to sound better j/p (but seriously it will though )

I do research beforehand, then wait for the sweet deals to fall into place. I take my time, as I've had my truck for almost a year now and still have the stock stereo

You got the hook up on the box? Hmm Group Buy and get a free box!
I see we both enjoy our freebies!
I've sent plenty of business to Marv, he said he would build me a nice box and mdf adapters.

Cam I am a CHEAP ******, I would not spend that much money myself on a car stereo. AT home I have a SERIOUS setup but would not do that in my truck.
I am saving my nickels cause I am looking to buy a 1995 RX7 or Toyota Supra with less than 30K miles . . . been looking for an R2 . . my Taco will be the daily driver . . .
I really want an M3 but I would rather have a car that will increase in value . . . I could sell my Taco and take my RX7 money and get an M3 but I will lose money quickly. The RX or the Soop will only go up in value . . . and Tacos are great at holding a lot of their value.
On the stereo side . . . I know you spent a lot of time putting it together and you have a lot of exp on the audio side (so I don't doubt your setup will sound better), I do not have time to do that stuff. I am a PACS admin by trade, so there are days I can stay online and work at the same time. It is BEYOND me how you have time to post EVERYWHERE!!!
Sheesh!! You are a posting animal!!
Don't get me wrong you have helped me in the past, but sheeesh man - I bet you don't have a TAN!! I am dark as all get out!! LOL!! I have still been water skiing the last few weekends.
Anyhow, thanks again for you input! CAM is DA MAN!!
It sounds like the vehicle you are looking for is an XRunner with twin turbos . But if not the obvious choice would be the Supra.

I have a nice tan thanks Been to Huntington Beach a few times this past few weeks and in the backyard in the pool.
If I'm not at work or doing something crazy, I'm on the internet. I don't watch TV. My hobbie is doing car audio installs, so thats what I get into on the internet. You'll notice most of my posts are Car Audio related. But I do know a thing or two how cars work and how to fix them.
But yes, I am a Post Whore
I'm going to be going back to college to take some Business and Accounting classes(shoud have done it sooner ), then I plan on getting my MECP installers certificate. My goal is to start my own car audio shop, then a tire and service shop next to or near it. Preferably in a Beach area
In the meantime until that happens, it looks like I'm going to be going to Auto Finance School to be a Finance Manager at a dealer. Those guys make 10-20K a month

I do surf alot of forums, but TN is my home on the internet.
BTW you definitely need to turn down the gain on the sub amp when it's running at 2 ohms, the ID10 can't take 500+ watts(especially in break in)
But two of them sharing 500+ watts would be perfect. Just set the gains properly as I showed you in that other thread.
