Head Unit

hey,

so after lots of tuning with my sub the problem is that my JVC unit is prob on its way out. when i turn my bass up the cd starts skipping.

ny recomm on a new HU. I would like one with a seperate sub bass control. price should be around $200 can.

Buy an Alpine. I have one in my 87 truck with pioneer 6*9's and it sounds great. Bass is good and it can hit the highs. There are several bass options.

if the CD is skipping you might NOT have to buy a new one, if you are fairly mechanically inclined, you might want to take the housing off and clean the lens with compressed ait....that might save you some $ but eventually you might go the road of buying a new headunit
