Does MMats over or under rate their wattage on their amps?

I bought the D1000.2 which theoretically means it should put out 1000 Watts at 2 ohms, but on their website it says 700W RMS. I also bought a P3.0 by MMats and on the website it says 700W RMS but on the back of the sub is says 1000W...anyone care to help me out?

Meh, so you have a 700 watt amp, matched up to a 700 watt sub. Sounds like a good match Hookem up

From my understanding and what I've seen in the past, MMATS makes some QUALITY Class D amps -- at least when they were being built in Florida..

I'm not sure where their stuff is manufactured nowadays.... If you're curious, you could always send it in to www.kbaudio.com and have Sergei benchmark it for you.
