Cool new headunit out:From Russia

In case you don't check out www.elitecaraudio.com there's a thread going on about a new headunit out from Russia that's supposed to be pretty awesome. Does a CRAPLOAD of stuff for 500 bucks. The specs blow my Eclipse CD8053 and a Pioneer DEHP860MP(And almost any other headunit) out of the water.

I want one

http://www.elitecaraudio.com/forums/...0&pagenumber=1

Who wants to buy an Eclipse CD8053?

Give me copper chassis, analog volume control, organic LED display, and a brushed aluminum faceplate and I'll consider it.

Saw the vid off ECA last night. Wasn't terribly impressed -- although it essentially does the same thing as a carputer just crammed down into a DIN-sized opening.

Just my 2 cents.

Speaking of which, whats the word on that unit, Cam? I hadn't heard a definite one way or another, so I'm still curious as to whats going on.

Some guy from NYC is going to demo it and review it. Keep an eye on that thread.

So who's flying to Russia to pick up a crate of these bad boys?

As long as it doesn't perform like a Lada.. I'd hit it.
