how do i

I want to hook up my head lights/tail lights and factory horn to my car alarm, so that i know when my car is going off. But im not sure how too.

The alarm manual says that the wire for the lights is either +/- (possitive/negative) and that the horn output is - (negative). Do i use a relay for each and where do i tap into the horn and the lights wires?

Installation Manual For security system... last page is diagram.

Any and all help is greatly apreaciated.

the horn trigger is GREEN W/BLACK STRIPE located at the steering column(it is NEGATIVE in polarity.) so connect your BROWN/WHITE wire to this one.

as for the parking lights, you will need to determine if your alarm looks for pos or neg signal.(most alarms have a polarity selector somewhere in the brain)

the p. lights POSITIVE is GREEN wire located AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FUSEBOX

the p. lights NEGATIVE is RED wire located AT THE HEADLGHT SWITCH

connect the WHITE wire to this one

just tap into the correct wire no relays are needed because they are built into the alarms brain already. DO NOT TRY TO CONNECT THE WHITE WIRE TO THE HEADLIGHT CIRCUIT!

also you WILL need an immobilizer by-pass module, DEI part #555XW

BooYa, I got an answer, whahhahaha... Now whats an immobilizer by-pass module?

Not sure if this matters but I don't have a factory alarm, and my alarm has the ignition cut off if the alarm is set off.

well... i recently had to pull out the brain and send it to the manufacturer for repair, b/c i was no longer able to get into my car, and the alarm wasn't disactivating.

So what i did was disconenct everything but the ignition killer wires, and the car started up just fine. When i pulled out the brain i had to strip some wire and just got it in the 2 female connectors.... yea i feel safe about my car security system!

And im not looking into a remote starter, just want to have my horn and lights go off when the alarm does. I know my cars honk, the siren is just a regular, is there any way to change that?

Probably going to add some penzo tweeters later down the road in the cabin and hook them up to the siren so that when it goes off, so do the tweeters for an unbearable high pitch sound inside the cabin.

Also if I click once the driver door unlocks and 3 secs later all the other doors, i want to change that to if i click once only driver door opens, if i click twice all other doors open. Can it be done?

BWT; Thanks for all your help
