Minor Echo Audio upgrade advice.

I just got my '04 Echo HB and I'm not too crazy about the stock audio setup. Now I'm not looking to turn it into a boom box (been there done that), but the stock setup really has no umph!.

Does anyone know if putting in slightly more powerful speakers will do anything? I'd like to keep the stock look as much as possible so I'd rather not change the radio if I don't have to. Not to mention, I'm broke! The radio is the base AM/FM CD if that makes a difference.

anyone who knows the wattage of the stck unit would be very helpful.

Cheers,

Dave

Try out a set of coaxials and see how you like it. Off deck power, I'd rec. Pioneer Rev series Coaxials. But make sure you find out your speaker sizes and max mounting depth before you buy anything.
