Canada Airbag Stealing in Toronto, Canada

Large numbers of airbags are being stolen from newer Toyota Corollas in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Please be careful of cheap airbags. Mine got ripped out yesterday!

Then they sell them to unscrupulous mechanics who put them back in cars with airbags deployed pretending they are new parts. Sometimes a mechanic will sell you a black market one back if yours has been stolen. If he does simply report the serial number and cal the cops since he is directly responsible for this nutty TO crimewave. If you had one replaced after an accident I would recommend checking the serial as well so we can round these creeps up.

Has this happened to multiple corollas? Kinda odd... I always lock my doors, and if someone went through all that trouble for an air bag, that's probably not all they would steal from my car or many others for that matter.

My car has less body roll than I do.

When you want sports car handling, you buy a sports car.

Considering how much airbags go for.... yeah they would.
