just wanted to vent...

some low life decided to key my HL for fun on both sides while I was having dinner with my family. The HL was parked on a well lighted main street. WTF ... people got nothing better to do. I didn't cut anyone off or steal anyone's parking spot prior to parking. Good thing it's not too deep, I will try to color match and buff it out later.

Frickin' sucks!!! I go to great lengths too to park away from people and protect my baby, but you just never know when some lowlife is going to pass by and mess with your ride. You really, really do have my deepest sympathies! And if it doesn't hurt too much, I'd be interested in seeing any pics you may have.

i got keyed AGAIN on the driver side. this one is deeper into the metal. i took some pics and will post them later.

I touched up the other marks from my 1st post because i figured i will wait to get it fixed after the winter and good thing i did.

Area to watch out for is any streets between Boston downtown and Chinatown area, it's about 2 blocks if you know the area. Now that I think of it, about 6 months back, i saw an entire row of cars got keyed in one of the streets.

I am going to file a police report.

That just f****ng sucks! What kind of a spineless loser gets his/her jollies out of keying cars? I think sometimes it's a "hate the rich" envy thing. Sometimes in Orange County there's incidents where people come down and target only Mercedes, BMW's, etc., and smash side mirrors and key dozens of them at a time. When some of these people have been caught they've admitted to the police they "just wanted to get back at the rich."

I do what Traildust does, and park away from everyone else, but when I come out, someone always has to park next to me... while there's tons of empty spots around.
