Has anyone replaced those dim yellowish lights with really BRIGHT LEDs?
What is the easiest way to replace them, and is there any DIY availabl to do it ? I looked ad mine (one is out) and did a quick assesment on what is needed, and I didn't want to start without first finding out if anyone has already done this, and what/how it was accomplished. The removal does not look that simple without removing the panel on the hatch with the emblem on it... :<(

you probably have to remove the trunk liner in order to get to the license plate lights.

On my 09 altima 2.5, I have to remove about 6 fasteners in order to remove half of the trunk liner which reveals the license plate lights. I've replaced those yellowy OEM crappy bulbs with LED bulbs like these:

these are #168 bulbs which your xD uses as well.
