Wow, Scion has decided to lend me an xD for a few days. Picked it up last night and so far, it has really impressed me. Decent power and handling for a car of this size. It really has reawakened my love of small cars. You can follow my drive at http://bit.ly/sciontestdrive

Just a quick update on the test drive - I'm enjoying this car far more than I thought I would. Turns out to be a spunky little fella. Decent power, nimble handling (due, I'm sure to the short wheelbase) and the looks are really growing on me. Check out my latest update: http://bit.ly/sciontestdrive

They really are fun little cars and look Sharp with the TRD's on there.

Well, I returned the Scion xD after my test drive. I was actually a little sad to see it go. It was a fun little car - a car that proved the old saying that "It's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow." The xD really exceeded all my expectations. Toyota is building some fine cars, at reasonable prices, with their Scion brand. Check out my full review:

I hear in brazil this Xd call Urban Cruiser and the car come with 1.3 or 1.5 DIESEL + 4x4 ...Why not sell this model to USA?

1.3 doesn't have enough power for the US roadways(interstates.) it can't maintain the speeds needed to be safe.

Diesel likely doesn't meet US emissions standards.

AWD would make the vehicle to expensive for the price point they are trying to achive.
