We bought a 2012 Highlander Limited AWD a few weeks ago, and it pushed our 2005 4x2 Nissan Frontier toward obsolescence. So last week I stopped in at the Toyota dealership and traded my truck for a 2009 xD. The swap cost me all of $500. It should be a wash when I sell the 4 studded snows for the Nissan I still have.
I ordered up a Prius wiper stalk for the xD, so now it will be the same as our Highlander. I plan on doing the DRL mod next. I noticed that the temperature selector knob light is out, so I need to figure out how to replace that. I also want to add the overhead console or center console, auto-dim rearview mirror, and at some point, some alloys (TRD, or other). I also did the carbon filter mod to the air box.
... and i averaged 33.4mpg on the way to work today...
