The B18c5 1.8L is quite a bit faster than the 4age 20v BT's, Hondas 1.6 engines where very close in power to toyotas, and toyota was still using a design from the early 80s while honda came out with their b16 in 89 or something in japan, but the trueno/levin gtz's had loads more torque and more or just as much hp, the b16 is supposed to be pretty close to the 4ag in design even although I havn't looked at a b16 myself maybe sometime I will, the 4ag 20v was in my opinion better than the honda b16s for sure, just the 20vs didnt use as big of cams as the honda type r engines, the honda type r engines are also tuned, the b16 has pretty much the power of a port n polished and camed 4ag 20v(talking about the later b16b 185hp engines). I think both the engines are great and can reach about the same power output but the honda engines obviously have more after market support.
