Like I said it comes down to the feel you want from the car. I like how the 4age reacts. and I thought the vtec's were 2.0's, I know the new ones are.

Toyota kept the smaller size engine and made it fun to drive. Toyota's weren't ment for long distance travel. They were ment for corners, espicially since the 20v was meant for area's like japan. If you compare my 90 hp 4af ae92 sr5 to a regular civic such as the lare 90's one I drove for young drivers, my 1989 ae92 handles better, is more responsive even though it has a carb, the car overall feels better. I find the toyota's 4age can also take more of a punishment than a vtec can.

and besides drag racing isn't fun, ooo look at me I can floor it in a straight line <claps hands like a retard> lol
